Featured photographers: Monika & Konrad Wasylewski

Welcome to the second edition of featured photographer where we present you the most talented photographers using actions and presets from our Essential Kit for Photographers.

Today we are having an amazing couple – Monika and Konrad Wasylewski from Poland – one of the most popular destination wedding photographers. You can find their website here. This award winning couple’s unique style has been recognized worldwide – Monika’s artistic eye merges with Konrad’s edgy view of the world and together they create something spectacular.

Why destination weddings?

Because it’s a combination of travelling and photography – two of our passions, together with learning new cultures and interesting people. Can anything be better?:)

Which location was the most interesting and why?

There were several interesting locations. Santorini in Greece for its breathtaking landscapes, San Jose in south Spain for the incredible and spontaneous people and Tunis with the most exotic Arabian wedding, sounds, colors and flavors.

What do you love about shooting weddings?

Every wedding is different, every time we meet wonderful people and the truth is that every wedding day is unpredictable – it’s a challenge.

How would you describe your style?

Our style is in our logo. We have a documentary approach but we show the beauty and the best side of our couples.

Where would like to shoot your dream wedding?

Until now, every destination wedding was our dream wedding. In a few days we will be on a wedding in Monaco, I am sure that this will be our next dream wedding. In terms of destination we would like to shoot a wedding on exotic islands like Seychelles or Polynesia. In terms of culture, we would like to shoot an Indian and a Jewish wedding (probably next year). Typical Arabian weddings are also great.

What are your plans for the future?

Many fellow photographers tell us that our style is already recognizable – we would like to work more on this. We recently moved with our son Leon to Germany and we would like to work more in this area with a strictly selected and limited number of worldwide destination weddings.
