What are the system requirements for these actions and presets?
All actions are compatible with Photoshop CS3 or higher. Both Mac & PC platform will operate them. Same with presets – all you’ll need is Adobe Camera Raw (versions distributed with CS3, CS4 and CS5 are fine, just be sure to have version later then 4.6) or Lightroom (version 2 or 3).
What happens after I buy one of your products?
After you add your desired products to your cart, you’ll be asked to pay via Paypal. When your payment is complete, we will email you a link that lets you download your chosen products. For most of payments it usually takes seconds. Once you purchase, you will be postprocessing your photos in minutes.
I did not receive download instructions. What should I do?
If you do not receive your download instructions after purchase please send us a friendly email and we’ll be happy to help you. Be sure to use the correct email address when ordering. For some reason, some email providers can treat purchase confirmation email as spam, so please search your mailbox (especially spam folder) for mail with subject “Purchase Receipt” received from “essentialkit.net”.
Will I know how to use them?
Our actions and presets are really easy to use. Along with your actions&presets comes our user manual, which will guide you step by step in installing and using the product. We have also prepared video tutorials available on our website – make sure you watch them.
How does an action process my photo? Can I mix them?
Marta’s Actions are designed to make your workflow faster while allowing lots of flexibility. Actions make a groups of layers letting you work on opacity of each layer or the whole group and decide how strong each effect will influence the original photo.
You can check out our samples page on our website to learn how Marta mixes different actions to get her final results. There are endless possibilities of mixing different actions – it’s all about creativity.
What do I need to know about actions before I buy?
They require you to have a basic knowledge of Photoshop, including working with layers. Again – if you don’t, it’s all in the manual and video tutorials.
Can I try a few actions before I buy?
Yes, you can. We created a set called “Marta loves freebies” that’s free. It consists of five actions and two presets. Download them and have fun!
I ran an action and an error occured.
Choose the “Stop” option and then flatten the image. Once you’ve flattened the image, you may re-select the action that you wanted to run. The action was stopped because of the error, so you must select the action name again in order to run the action again. You may also go to “history” and take few steps backward. This is the most common problem. The other one may be related to configuration. Actions are prepared for english version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 or later and running them with older or non-english version may cause additional errors.
I accidentally deleted an action within the action palette.
Delete the action set in which the action was placed and reload the set again from the folder where you keep the actions. By the way, it’s good to have a backup copy of your actions on cd in case something happens to your computer.
